Influenced by techno as well as rock, German electronic body music (EBM) group Rotersand established themselves as a powerful live act and also released new music on a regular basis. Formed in 2002 in Gelsenkirchen, Nordrhein-Westfalen, Rotersand are comprised of Gun (born Gunther Gerl), Rasc (Rascal Nikov), and Krischan (Krischan Jan-Eric Wesenberg). The group debuted with the album Truth Is Fanatic (2003) and its accompanying EP, Merging Oceans (2003), both released by Endless Records. Rotersand then switched to Dependent Records and returned with a follow-up album, Welcome to Goodbye (2005), along with an accompanying single, Exterminate Annihilate Destroy (2005), and EP, Dare to Live: Perspectives on Welcome to Goodbye (2006). Rotersand's third album, 1023 (2007), was released internationally — by Dependent in the European Union, Metropolis in the United States, and Soyuz in Russia.

Raymond Watts, who now performs under the name Pig, was one of the forming members of the performance art ensemble, Kein Mehrheit füer die Mitlied, which would later develop a more musical focus and become known as KMFDM. He left that band in its early stages and would later return to play on their Beat by Beat tour and help them record their seventh album, Nihil. As Pig, he released a number of albums, the first few on the WaxTrax! label, including the 1988 single, "Never for Fun," and his debut lp, A Poke in the Eye...With a Sharp Stick, which also came out in 1988. The early albums represented the influences that he was under while living in Germany and doing work for bands like Einstruzende Neubaten. He soon would form a relationship with the A&R guy at Alfa Entertainment, who released his albums The Swining and Red, Raw & Sore. When the A&R moved to Victor, Watts followed and issued several albums through them, including the 1995 full-length, Sinsation. The music featured on Watts albums has evolved over the years to become increasingly complex, incorporating German, British and Japanese pop music elements and a variety of electronic idioms. His albums often incorporate three or four styles within the context of each song, alternating with works that are much more straightforward and listenable. In 1999, Cleopatra records re-released the two Alfa albums, The Swining and Red, Raw & Sore, as a single volume, resurrecting one of the strongest periods in his career. No One Gets Out of Her Alive followed in 2000.

Claire Voyant - Love is blind

Chris Ross (programming) and Ben Fargen (guitar), Claire Voyant's founding duo, first met at an early age, since then creating a serious creative understanding. Having bands like the Cure or Cocteau Twins as main influences, the two-team unveiled their musical preferences on delicate pop style selections added by enchanting streamlined drawings. However, Voyant's melodies were not complete until the later addition of Victoria Lloyd, who provided a substantive balance to the group's compositions. In 1995, they recorded their first disc, Claire Voyant, eventually reissued two years later by German label Hyperium, hence capitalizing the trio's considerable following. Time and the Maiden showed up as their second full-length in 1998, conferring the group an even more solid standing, emphasized by 2000's Time Again, an album with remixes by artists such as Front 242 or Covenant. They signed a recording contract with Accession Records a year later.

Colourbox were an English electronic musical group on the 4AD record label in the 1980s. They attempted an electronically-tinged reggae and soul influenced pop music, constrained by the technology they had access to at the time. They released a number of records from 1982 until 1987. The band was formed by the brothers Martyn and Steve Young, with guest singers until Lorita Grahame joined as a permanent member in 1983.

The first release - a four track mini-album simply titled "Colourbox" released in 1983 - displayed the band's fledgling experimental sound - with pop tunes fractured and distorted out of shape by all manner of cut-and-paste tomfoolery. After a handful of singles, a full album followed in 1985 - also titled "Colourbox" - which further refined the band's diverse palette, mixing sample-splattered power-punk instrumentals with elegaic piano pieces ("Just Give 'Em Whiskey" and "Sleepwalker" respectively), commercial pop ("The Moon Is Blue", "Suspicion") and more reggae and soul covers (U-Roy's "Say You" and The Supremes' "You Keep Me Hanging On"). It was to remain the band's only proper album.

However, for a brief time Martyn Young's name would still appear as a producer credit on records by acts as diverse as The Christians and fellow label-mates The Wolfgang Press, whilst former singer Lorita Grahame was last seen gracing vocal duties on a record released by short-lived One Little Indian act Hit The Floor (a cover of Edwin Starr's late-70s disco smash "Contact"). Since then, very little has been heard from any of the members from the camp save for a brief return to promotional duties for Martyn Young in 2001 to oversee the release of the rather disappointing and anything-but-fully-representative "The Best Of Colourbox 82-87".

Tuxedomoon - Ten Years in one night

Tuxedomoon es un grupo de música de vanguardia estadounidense, de estilo inclasificable, capaces de instrumentar temas new wave, jazz fussion o puramente experimentales, utilizando instrumentos tradicionales y sintetizadores. Creado en San Francisco, Estados Unidos, en 1977 por dos estudiantes de música electrónica, Blaine Reininger y Steven Brown. Otros músicos importantes que participaron en algún momento en la formación son Peter Principle y Winston Tong.

En 1980 publican su primer LP, Half Mute. En 1982, el coreógrafo Maurice Béjart les encarga la música para el ballet Divine, tributo a Greta Garbo. En 1983 Reininger deja el grupo para seguir su carrera en solitario. En 1985 publican Holy Wars, que se convierte en su mayor éxito comercial. Wim Wenders utiliza el tema Some Guys en las escenas iniciales de su película El cielo sobre Berlín.

Su último disco de estudio fue You, publicado en 1987.

Umbra et Imago - Infantile Spiele

Esta banda se fundó en el año de 1991, experimentando con los sonidos del goth, new wave y el ebm.
En 1992 salió su primer álbum, llamado "Träume Sex Und Tod", este álbum fue muy bien aceptado, a tal grado que la banda fue invitada al festival Zillo que se celebró a finales de ese mismo año.
Habían comenzado. En 1993, Umbra Et Imago se había colocado como una de las bandas más importantes dentro de la escena europea.
De su segundo álbum; "Infantile Spiele", destacó el sencillo "Gothic Erotic", el cual dio la vuelta por todas las discos (dentro de la escena goth) de Europa.
Llegaron al clímax en 1993, con su aparición en el Zillo al aire libre. Gracias a su carismático vocalista Mozart y a su destacable perfomance fetish, reunieron a 7000 espectadores que quedaron convencidos con su actuación.

Gitane Demone - Love for sale (Live)

Gitane Demone es conocida como ex miembro de Christian Death, pero también ha editado magníficos álbumes en solitario donde da rienda suelta a su pasión por el jazz y las potentes voces femeninas, sobre todo por Billie Holliday. Además, su aspecto visual nunca ha dejado de ser intrigante y fascinante, puro rubber y S/M, estandarte de una imaginería fetish que ha trasladado más de una vez a sus letras.

Demone comenzó su carrera en la escena de la nueva ola de California a principios de los 80´s como miembro del trío Pompeii 99. Al grupo se unió más tarde el cantante Rozz Williams para formar una nueva encarnación de su grupo Christian Death, donde Demone permaneció largo tiempo hasta que en 1989 decidió trasladarse a Amsterdam y comenzar su carrera en solitario. Ya sola, Gitane Demone se lanza al formato crooner, a las canciones cabareteras y a dar rienda suelta a su poderosa voz repleta de soul.

Ahora vive en Los Angeles y está trabajando en un nuevo trabajo en solitario. Acaba de editar un doble DVD titulado “Life after Death” que contiene varios aspectos de su carrera así como un concierto junto a Rozz Williams.
