Faith & The Muse es un grupo cuya característica es la composición musical con un sentido dramático del romanticismo dentro de composición darkwave. Integrado por Monica Richards y William Faith, componen un tipo de melodía gótica tipo isabelina y con matices victorianos, involucrándose con ritmos de rock and roll, ambos fueron integrantes de varias bandas previas a la formación de Faith & the Muse.

Su tercer álbum, Evidence of Heaven, es la representación de un libro de historias llenas de romanticismo obscuro y naturaleza arcáica.


Faith & the Muse showcase a bittersweet musical composure and a dramatic sense of romanticism within darkwave compositions. Monica Richards and William Faith, the duo behind the gothic Elizabethan melodies and Victorian soundscapes, involved themselves in dark rock & roll early on, playing in various bands and creating musical chaos before the ethereal mystery of the Faith & the Muse.

Third album of their career, Evidence of Heaven, is a heavy storybook of dark romanticism, archaic in nature, mold the illustrious theatrics found on Evidence of Heaven. Faith's guitar work is scalding, fiercely driven over Richard's haunting vocalics. Sonically, the band's demeanor is roughcast around dripping poetics, specifically on "Scars Flown Proud." This particular cut is raging with the fear of fear, but also welcoming the beginning of the next life. It's eerie in the manner that Richards' confident lyrics build momentum, making such complexities apparent for the remaining songs on the album.

Después de ser pioneros del goth -The Birthday Party- dejó se existir como grupo en 1983, es entonces cuando el cantante/compositor Nick Cave formó a los -Bad Seeds-, un grupo post-punk formado por uno de los miembros originales de Birthday Party, Mick Harvey en la batería, el bajista de Magazine Barry Adamson y el guitarrista de Eisturzende Neubauten Blixa Bargeld. Con los Bad Seeds, Cave continuó explorando sus obsesiones con la religión, la muerte, el amor, Estados Unidos, y violencia con un híbrido de blues, gospel, rock y un post-punk muy artístico, aunque de una forma más convencional que sus trabajos previos en Birthday Party.

After goth pioneers The Birthday Party called it quits in 1983, singer/songwriter Nick Cave assembled the Bad Seeds, a post-punk supergroup featuring former Birthday Party guitarist Mick Harvey on drums, ex-Magazine bassist Barry Adamson y Eisturzende Neubauten guitarrist Blixa Bargeld. With the Bad Seeds, Cave continued to explore his obsessions with religion, death, love, America, and violence with a bizarre, sometimes self-consciously eclectic hybrid of blues, gospel, rock, and arty post-punk, although in a more subdued fashion than his work with the Birthday Party. Keeping the same line-up from Henry's Dream, Nick Cave and company turn in yet another winner with Let Love In. Compared to Henry's Dream, Let Love In is something of a more produced effort -- longtime Cave boardsman Tony Cohen oversees things, and from the first track, one can hear the subtle arrangements and carefully constructed performances.

Nine Inch Nails (abreviado NIN) es una banda estadounidense de rock industrial fundada en 1988 por Trent Reznor en Ohio, Estados Unidos. Nine Inch Nails (aka NIN) is an American of industrial rock band founded on 1988 by Trent Reznor in Ohio, United States. Like his main producer, singer, instrumentalist and composer, Reznor are the unique official member of Nine Inch Nails and the person in charge of the direction of the band. The music of Nine Inch Nails includes a great number of musical sorts, although it maintains a characteristical sound using electronic instruments and processing in the recording studio. After recording each new album, Reznor forms a band for the tours and concerts. This band usually makes adjustments in the songs to fit them to the direct performances.

Year Zero is the fifth study album, sent to the market in April of 2007. Reznor composed music and wrote the lyrics while the previous album of the band was on promoting tour, -With Teeth- in 2005. In contrast to the previous of Reznor, Year Zero is a conceptual album that criticism the present policies of the federal government of the United States presenting/displaying a distópica vision of year 2022.

Esplendor Geométrico es un grupo español que se formó a principios de 1980 con Arturo Lanz, Gabriel Riaza y Juan Carlos Sastre, todos ellos ex miembros de Aviador Dro y sus obreros especializados. Tomaron el nombre de Esplendor Geométrico de un poema futurista del escritor italiano Filippo Tomasso Marinetti. En 1981 editaron su primer solo (single), "Necrosis en la Poya", con el sello Tic Tac, seguido de su debut en LP, El Acero del Partido en 1982. En 1985 el grupo formó su propio sello, Esplendor Geométrico Discos.


Balearic Rhythms (1996) muestran una (al menos en parte) suavización de su sonido tradicionalmente abrasivo. Por ahora el grupo es un dúo, formado por Arturo Lanz y Saverio Evangelista, el último en unirse al grupo en 1990. En 1997 Polyglophone muestra el regreso de EG en verdad a la plena agresión de sus anteriores trabajos y, al año siguiente, artistas como Coil y Chris & Cosey contribuyeron con versiones de temas clásicos de Esplendor Geométrico al álbum remezcla En-co-d-eSplendor.


Esplendor Geométrico is a Spanish group formed at the beginning of 1980 with Arturo Lanz, Gabriel Riaza and Juan Carlos Sastre, all of them ex- members of "Aviador Dro y sus obreros especializados". They took the name of Geometric Splendor from a futurist poem of the Italian writer Filippo Tomasso Marinetti. Trainspotting - O.S.T.

La película está basada en la novela Trainspotting de Irvine Welsh, quien aparece como Mikey Forrester, un punk que vive en una habitación con tan solo un colchón.

El título Trainspotting tiene un doble significado, por un lado hace referencia a un pasaje del libro en el que Begbie y Renton conocen a un borracho en la estación de trenes. Begbie y Renton usan la estación para hacer sus necesidades y el borracho les pregunta, intentando hacer un chiste, si están haciendo "trainspotting". Por otra parte hace referencia al argot escocés en donde el termino "trainspotting" significa buscar una vena para inyectarse droga. El término anglosajón "trainspotting" se utiliza para refererirse a la afición relativamente popular en el Reino Unido de observar trenes.


The film is based on the novel Trainspotting of Irvine Welsh, that appears like Mikey Forrester, a punk that lives in a room with only a mattress.

The Trainspotting title has a meant double, on the one hand it makes reference to a passage of the book in which Begbie and Renton know a drunkard in the station of trains. Begbie and Renton use the station to make their needs and a drunk asks to them, trying to make a joke, if they are doing " trainspotting". On the other hand he makes reference to the Scottish jargon where " trainspotting" means to look for a vein to inject drug. The Anglo-Saxon term " trainspotting" it is used to refererir itself to the relatively popular liking in the United Kingdom to observe trains.

Excelente soundtrack dirigido artísticamente por Trent Reznor (NIN), en el cual hace una completa selección de temas con distintas influencias, desde la cadencia de Leonard Cohen, pasando por la energía de Patti Smith, hasta el heavy metal de las chicas de L7, todo intercalado con diálogos de la película.

Sin más que decir, una excelente obra, si no lo tienes, esta es tu oportunidad.

Un must de FOH.


Excellent soundtrack directed artisticaly by Trent Reznor (NIN), in which makes one complete selection of tracks with different influences, from the cadence of Leonard Cohen, passing through the energy of Patti Smith, to the heavy metal of the girls of L7, everything mixed with dialogues of the film.

Without further comment, an excellent work, if you do not have it, this is your opportunity.

Diamanda Galás es una destacada cantante de ópera, artista, compositora y pianista Greco-Norteamericana. Conocida por su experiencia con el piano, así como su distintiva voz de ópera, que tiene una amplitud de tres octavas y media. Usa frecuentemente nuevos estilos de cantar, con gemidos, gritos y glosas que le han dado un estilo muy especial. Se le ha comparado frecuentemente con Maria Callas.

En este disco en particular se hace acompañar del legendario bajista del grupo Led Zeppelin, John Paul Jones, disfrútalo.

Diamanda Galás is an outstanding Greco-North American singer of opera, artist, composer and pianist . Well-known by its experience with the piano, as well as its distinguishing voice of opera, that has a eighth amplitude of three and half octaves. She frequently uses new styles for singing, with moaned, shouts and glosses that have given a very special style. Has been compared frequently with Maria Callas.

Rollins Band fue una banda de rock estadounidense, liderada por el cantante y compositor Henry Rollins. Se les conoce principalmente por las canciones «Low Self Opinion» y «Liar», que alcanzaron una amplia difusión en MTV a principios de la década de 1990. Rollins Band was an American rock band, led by singer and composer Henry Rollins. Nacido en Albany, Georgia, Ray Charles perdió la vista durante su infancia por un glaucoma. Fue autodidacta del piano, pero también recibió clases de música en braille en la "St Augustine School", un centro para invidentes. Paralelamente, tuvo que ganarse la vida como músico, cuando fallecieron sus padres. A finales de la década de los cuarenta, Ray Charles consigue colocar un disco en las listas de su país, y en 1951 obtiene su primer Top Ten, gracias a "Baby let me hold your hand" en 1951. Fue criticado por cantar canciones gospel con letras populares, aunque hay una gran tradición al poner letras religiosas a canciones y viceversa.

Falleció a la edad de 73 años, el 10 de junio de 2004 en su casa de California. Sus restos se encuentran en el Cementerio Inglewood Park de Los Angeles.

The Cramps - Bad Music For Bad People

The Cramps son un grupo clave en la historia del rock & roll. Supieron conjugar el primitivo rockabilly y el garage de los'60s, basándose en un sonido muy característico, marcado por la guitarra fuzz dePoison Ivy y la inconfundible voz de Lux Interior. Todo mezclado con una estética entre película de serie B, sexo masoquista y glamour cutre de Las Vegas. El psychobilly sería impensable sin ellos y su revisión del rock & roll de los 50´s será la principal influencia del futuro revival rockabilly y el garage de los 80.


The Cramps is a key group in the history of rock & roll. They knew to conjugate primitive rockabilly and the garage of the 60's, being based on a very characteristic sound, marked by the guitar fuzz dePoison Ivy and the unmistakable voice of Inner Lux. Everything mixed between h an aesthetic film of series B, miserly masochistic sex and glamour of Fertile valleys. Psychobilly would be unthinkable without them and its revision of the rock & roll of 50´s will be the main influence of the future revival rockabilly and the garage of the 80.
